About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Our Story

Drs. Julie DiPilato and Jonathan Page met in the winter of 2022 during their doctoral studies in a course on Leadership for Social Justice. Paired for weekly conversations, they quickly discovered a shared commitment to equity and a common thread running through their research: belonging.

Though approaching their work from different lenses—Dr. DiPilato from middle school education and Dr. Page from higher education—they are united by a belief that belonging is foundational to meaningful learning and leadership.

Julie’s work centers on creating spaces where every student feels they belong, using career exploration in adolescence as a powerful equity lever, and helping young people see their future selves and expand what they believe is possible. Jonathan brings expertise in curriculum design, equity, inclusion, and organizational development, with a mission to inspire the next generation of citizen leaders.

Their combined research and practice center on belonging, culturally responsive pedagogy, and identity development. Together, they host conversations that challenge systems, elevate lived experiences, and explore how belonging can transform education.
